fly an aircraft with friends and family on board?

The club has two aircraft the Tecnam Sierra P2002 and a Piper Tomahawk available for PPL Flight training

A Private Pilot License is a recreational license that allows you to fly an aircraft as a pilot in command with friends and family on board.

To obtain a PPL, you need to complete the six PPL theory subjects (Human Factors, Air Law, Meteorology, Flight Radio Telephony, Navigation, General Aircraft Technical Knowledge), and a minimum of 50 hours of flight time covering the New Zealand CAA PPL syllabus.

The New Zealand syllabus consists of dual and solo flight training, instrument flying, terrain and weather awareness and cross countries.

If you are interested in the Private Pilot Program we suggest you contact the club for more information.
